Simple and Accurate Integration with a Wide Range of Devices
With
Paradigm Elements you'll be able to communicate with a wide range of
devices including EEG systems from
ANT, BioSemi, BrainVision and Neuroscan as well as Biopac or any device
that accepts triggers through a Parallel Port or a
DIO-24 port.
Elements
commands are added directly to the events in your experiment so you get the best possible synchronization between
triggers and event onsets. Paradigm Elements tightly integrates into the Paradigm user interface and scripting
interface for ease-of-use and flexibility.

Send Triggers to Multiple Devices Simultaneously
Paradigm Elements for Ports enables simultaneous data collection by letting you send triggers to multiple devices
for each stimulus in your experiment. For example, a combined EEG, BIOPAC experiment where both sets of collected data
have markers for stimulus onsets. Paradigm Elements lets you conduct cutting edge multi-modal research using a variety of
devices.

Send Triggers at Any Point During a Stimulus
When presenting movies or long audio files you often want to mark events at multiple time points during the
stimulus playback. Paradigm Elements lets you specify whether a trigger should be sent at stimulus onset
or at some later point during the stimulus presentation (e.g. asynchronous triggers). You'll be able to perform
much more accurate analysis of, for instance, ERP responses to events during a variety of active stimuli.

Communicate with Devices Using Paradigm's Python Scripting API
Paradigm Elements also gives you access to trigger commands through Paradigm's Python scripting interface.
You can send triggers as part of any script implementation giving maximum flexibility and control.
